I expect this class to be slightly less interesting for myself than for the average person. Not because we won't be learning good stuff, but because I probably know a significant amount of what we'll be covering. I love computers and this stuff comes naturally to me. The group aspects of this course, such as working together to teach several chapters, will probably be the most difficult part. It's always a challenge to schedule a get-together with six other people who have their own things to do.
As for how I think people should act in this class, the "do's and don'ts," so to speak, I have a list. Here it is, inspired by my own opinion of how I would want students to act in my classroom:
- People shouldn't talk on their cell phones in class or distract others with audible content on their laptop.
- For their own good, people need to pay attention. If they don't know what they're doing, the last thing they need to do is text in class.
- People ought to curb their personal conversations when the teacher is giving instructions. If they're helping another person out, sure, but last night's game? Later.
- In their groups, people need to contribute fairly and not slack off. I abhor loafers.
And here's a video about how to conjugate verbs in Spanish:
